birthday present

I pushed open my front door, all the lights inside were off, unusual. i tried to feel my way through the darkness toward the light switch, when halfway across the room someone grabbed me. A hand was clasped over my mouth before i could scream. My heart was pouring, i wriggled, tried to kick out uselessly.
'stop squirming baby, you know I'm stronger than you'
It was a familiar voice. It belonged to my partner, Grant. I calmed a little, and as his hand left my face, falling instead around my throat, i felt a dampness in ny underwear.
'you know its Richards birthday today?'
that caught me off guard. I nodded yes.
Richard was a mutual friend of ours, he was close with both of us, and it wasn't a secret he had always had a soft spot for me.
'well baby, youre his present.'
as i tried to wrap my head around what my other half was suggesting, something was forced into my mouth.
a ball gag.

Started a bit too quickly. You could have let the suspense drag on a bit more. Otherwise...
