How important is comfort in shoes?

Are you one of these people who will stick it out with really uncomfortable shoes because they look nice or would you rather find a comfortable pair?

Comfort is most important to me. I have a couple cute pairs of shoes but I don't wear them much because they aren't comfortable.

Comfort 100%, takes me forever to find a pair of comfortable shoes normally so by the end of my search my style standards tend to have dropped off.

I like comfortable and durable shoes, that's why I already have a third pair of the same Merell model for trekking, so for 12 years it looks like I'm walking in the same shoes in the mountains. At the same time, I have uncomfortable but really warm military boots for the winter
