As I said a while ago, I would make a second story, I did just that but I do know that the end in the story will be rather .... sudden. The reason for this is because of personal in real life issues that happened so I couldn't ( and really still can't and will not be able to for a while ) do a lot of writing but I didn't want to let what I actually have go to waste.

Due to that same reason, I also did not proof-read what I did write and did not edit some things that might require editing or might require more or less detail.

I hope you people will still enjoy the story.

My name is Rei and this is the story about how my life became absolutely horrible, but before I start that I should give you some information on how this world works, after all, by the time this story is read the world might have changed.

This world does not only have humans as intelligent life forms, there are the "Zisa", or as most humans call them the "cat people" and the "Faunchi" which were also born on the same planet as the Zisa but are more like dogs. Both of these species have some features of the animals but overall they are usually not furry and very humanoid, most of them just have a tail and ears of either a cat or dog but there are some exceptions.

Just like with normal cats and dogs, usually they don't get along too well as there are a lot of differences.

The planet named Fosmion is a planet that belonged to both of these races until the humans landed on the planet and we started to live amongst them, mostly in peace. With the humans there are also people who get superpowers when they turn 15 years old, about 95% of the time it is exactly on the age of 15 as when powers were first discovered, they were genetically created to be available when a person turns 15 so they would already have some knowledge about the world but still have a young enough body to practice the powers, and it is said that once the powers manifest, the person instantly knows how to use them and what powers they have but they might not be able to control it yet.

Unfortunately, since those ancient times, some things have changed due to some bad people that received powers, now those that receive superpowers only have 4 options on what would happen when they get them.

These options are
1. Hide your powers and don't let anyone know, ever.
2. Start to work for the government and when not working for them be imprisoned
3. Become the property of a non-powered person and do anything they tell you to do while they use their status to protect you, due to this they are usually rich and are high class citizens
4. Get hunted until they kill you.

On top of those things, other laws are also different than what you might believe, for example, drugs, alcohol and tobacco are completely banned and the punishment for possessing them will result in the death penalty.

The reason for this is that the Zisa tend to become uncontrollable aggressive when they consume any of those things while the Faunchi hunt for them with their exceptional noses as they get really addicted to them.

Stuff such as prostitution, public nudity and any sexual acts, including underage porno or underage nudity has only one rule. This rule is, there has to be consent from the person performing the act.

Even though nudity is completely legal, almost nobody does it because it is just humiliating. There are many more laws that could be different but overall, these are the ones that matter in this story.

On a side note, due to the Zisa & Faunchi and then people with super brains, any and all diseases have been eliminated, even a common cold doesn't happen anymore.

Now that you know that, let's get to talking a little more about me. As I said, my name is Rei, I am a rather shy girl that has almost no friends, I prefer it that way, I don't really know why.

When people describe my looks in detail they usually say that I have brown, shoulder length hair which slightly covers my thin and radiant face. My dad is usually on a business trip and is only home for about a day or two every couple months. Oh right, I have not told you how old I am yet, I am 15 years old, so with that, you now know that my younger sister is 14, my brother is 16 and my older sister is 17 but almost 18. We live in a rather large house that has a bedroom for each of us, including two spare bedrooms, each of the rooms is also rather large and has a walk in closet.

We also have a basement which has seven different rooms that are used as entertainment rooms, except for one of them that is storage. My siblings and I all still go to school, my older sister is going to university as she skipped a few years while myself, my brother and my younger sister are going to high school.

My older sister does have a superpower but it is impossible to prove as her power is a super brain, due to this she is safe as she also makes mistakes on purpose during tests and such. My brother does not have super powers as far as I know while with my younger sister we will not know until she turns 15.

As for me, well, this story starts on the day of my 15th birthday when my powers manifested themselves. My power? I will tell you later in the story as it goes on, for now, let’s start with how the day of my 15th birthday started.

I woke up on the day and even though it was my birthday, to me it was a day like any other, I took a shower, got dressed, ate breakfast and went to school. During the first period everything was still perfectly fine, but then during the second period I started to feel extremely sick and as if my whole body was burning. I asked to go to the washroom due to this, which I was granted and when I got there I ended up puking.

After puking for a while my body still felt like it was on fire which really worried me. Because of this I locked the bathroom door so nobody could enter it and stripped down to my underwear so I could splash my whole body with water.

Sadly it didn’t help but I kept on splashing water on my body. After about 15 minutes of doing that, I think it was 15 minutes, I didn’t keep track of time, the burning sensation suddenly stopped and I started to levitate.

On top of that I also knew that I had the power to control temperatures and the capability of changing matter of objects into something else. After struggling to get down for a few minutes I finally got back down on the ground. I was happy and worried at the same time, having powers is amazing but without control I would get found out in no time at all. Powers are also a curse as now my life would change forever.

As I was thinking about everything, what I should do, what I have to be sure to avoid and so on I suddenly realized that I was still in the school washroom in nothing but my panties and bra. I quickly got dressed again and went to the nurse’s office to get approval to go home early as I just puked and still felt sick. After some minor questions I was allowed to go home and I hurried home so I could learn how to control my powers when nobody is around to see me.

After a week of missing school, and with the help of my older sister’s super brain, I was confident enough to control my powers and went back to school.
The class schedule that I have today as it is a Monday is first I have Social then Math followed by Science, Computer studies, Human language, Gym, Zisa language and lastly Faunchi Language.
When I got to school and opened my locker I saw there was a large envelope in my locker that was not there before. Without opening my locker the envelope would be impossible to put it in my locker as there was a solid object inside of it. I opened the envelope, which had a cell phone in it and a card.

“Hello Rei, you should read the text messages on the phone” was written on the card.
