You're supposed to roll two dice and add them together and do that many extras, not just one. But you can modify it however you see fit, just do one, just roll one dice, whatever is going to be feasible for you! I just made that many options for someone who wants a longer dare, and to give more choices if someone ends up with an extra or two that breaks their limits.
