1. What’s your favorite way to relax after work?
I usually will play a game on my console or PC with YouTube playing in the background.

2. What is your go-to comfort meal for when you’re ill or have had a rough day?
When I am ill, warm soup (chicken)
rough day, Bahama Bucks

3. Do you have a movie or tv show you always watch when you take a sick day from work/school?
I don't watch a specific show, but I will go to my queue and pick a show to go through/pass out in front of.

4. Do you power through an illness/rough day or do you cancel everything and spend the day in bed?
I can't afford to get sick, so unless I am about to die, (or in danger of getting others sick) I just take some medicine and go about my day.

5. Does your family have a “secret” to get rid of the cold or flu (ex: mom’s secret chicken soup recipe, sleeping with onions in your socks, taking a dip in cold water etc)? If so, please share!
Not really, bed rest, Gatorade/Sprite, and a cool rag on the forehead are our typical things. Though I find that hot tea with honey does wonders for a sore thought.

6. How do you destress when you’ve had a really tough few days?
I will cuddle my plushie and not get out of bed unless I have to.

7. Do you have any bad habits/lean on vices when you’re stressed that you normally wouldn’t when things are going well?
I don't do anything productive. I have so much to do that I take a nap instead.

8. Have you ever faked a sick day to take off work/school and then got caught? What was your experience?
I have never been caught, but have skipped a day. Didn't leave the house or have any human contact. (questionable life pro-tip, if calling in sick, hang your head over the edge of your bed and you will sound congested)

9. What are your nervous habits?
Pacing, taping my fingers (starting with the pinkie and moving to my index and back), and talking to myself.

10. Are you the type of person who visits the doctor every time you feel off or the type of person who refuses to go even when you’re on deaths door?

As I said before, I can't afford to get sick, so the only way I will go to the doctor is if I am unconscious and someone finds me and takes me. Although I did have one time where I did break down outside a hospital after deciding to go the next day because my blood vein was red and inflamed. When I went in, I was told it was blood poisoning and I should have gone sooner as it could have killed me in the next day or two. (car started perfectly after I got treated)

1. What’s your favorite way to relax after work?
Just browsing getDare and some other sites. Sometimes take a bath, especially when it's cold or I have a headache.

2. What is your go-to comfort meal for when you’re ill or have had a rough day?
I'm not sure I have such a meal

3. Do you have a movie or tv show you always watch when you take a sick day from work/school?
No

4. Do you power through an illness/rough day or do you cancel everything and spend the day in bed?
Depends. When I have to work I often power through which eventually takes its toll. I feel guilty if I call in sick but if I'm really sick I do spend the day in bed.

5. Does your family have a “secret” to get rid of the cold or flu (ex: mom’s secret chicken soup recipe, sleeping with onions in your socks, taking a dip in cold water etc)? If so, please share!
No

6. How do you destress when you’ve had a really tough few days?
Same as above.

7. Do you have any bad habits/lean on vices when you’re stressed that you normally wouldn’t when things are going well?
Not that I'm aware of.

8. Have you ever faked a sick day to take off work/school and then got caught? What was your experience?
No, I cannot imagine doing that. I only call in sick when I'm really sick and even then I feel guilty.

9. What are your nervous habits?
Don't know that I have any.

10. Are you the type of person who visits the doctor every time you feel off or the type of person who refuses to go even when you’re on deaths door?
I never visit the doctor.

1. What’s your favorite way to relax after work?
Work/class, it's usually to watch some videos on YouTube.

2. What is your go-to comfort meal for when you’re ill or have had a rough day?
I'm not actually sure. Honestly, the closest thing might be a coke.
Quote:
3. Do you have a movie or tv show you always watch when you take a sick day from work/school?
No. I don't usually watch movies/TV. I prefer YouTube stuff or livestreams.
Quote:
4. Do you power through an illness/rough day or do you cancel everything and spend the day in bed?
Cancel everything usually. I am a massive wimp.

5. Does your family have a “secret” to get rid of the cold or flu (ex: mom’s secret chicken soup recipe, sleeping with onions in your socks, taking a dip in cold water etc)? If so, please share!
Nah. My family is very scientific, so I follow a very skeptical approach to many of those things. Some of these can help with symptoms which, for the common cold, is all you really need. The virus itself, however, is going to be sticking around until the body beats it (except in special circumstances like TamiFlu).

6. How do you destress when you’ve had a really tough few days?
The best way for me to destress is to avoid the computer. I still use my phone, but I keep myself out in the living room with my family, and sorta just relax.

7. Do you have any bad habits/lean on vices when you’re stressed that you normally wouldn’t when things are going well?
No.
Quote:
8. Have you ever faked a sick day to take off work/school and then got caught? What was your experience?
Yes, except it was even more awkward. I called in work, and they totally saw through my bullshit "I'm sick", but I still sorta just "haha yeah but I can't come in". And I worked with them them the next day, too.
Quote:
9. What are your nervous habits?
I genuinely do not know.
Quote:
10. Are you the type of person who visits the doctor every time you feel off or the type of person who refuses to go even when you’re on deaths door?
I prefer to visit the doctor whenever I don't feel well. Except, I usually go to Urgent Care instead (like a Minute Clinic or something). I'm very much the "safe than sorry" type of person.

TV, which these days mostly means YouTube of video games and cooking channels

2. What is your go-to comfort meal for when you’re ill or have had a rough day?
When I'm sick, nothing beats chicken soup. For a rough day, probably fish and chips, the more salt and fat the better.

3. Do you have a movie or tv show you always watch when you take a sick day from work/school?
The Price is Right is a time-honored sick-day tradition!

4. Do you power through an illness/rough day or do you cancel everything and spend the day in bed?
If I'm sick enough to stay home from work, I'm horizontal the entire day.

5. Does your family have a “secret” to get rid of the cold or flu (ex: mom’s secret chicken soup recipe, sleeping with onions in your socks, taking a dip in cold water etc)? If so, please share!
Pretzel sticks and ginger-ale.

6. How do you destress when you’ve had a really tough few days?
GetDare binges, re-watching Clive Anderson episodes of Whose Line that I've seen a thousand times just to laugh,

7. Do you have any bad habits/lean on vices when you’re stressed that you normally wouldn’t when things are going well?
Definitely biting my nails.

8. Have you ever faked a sick day to take off work/school and then got caught? What was your experience?
I never thought I would get away with it, I'm more likely to show up at work sick.

9. What are your nervous habits?
Biting my nails, telling bad jokes

10. Are you the type of person who visits the doctor every time you feel off or the type of person who refuses to go even when you’re on deaths door?
I sometimes do a little of both, which is the worst possible combination. I'm twitchy about stimuli that probably don't mean anything, and I put stuff off too.

1. What’s your favorite way to relax after work?
I usually play video games or watch a Twitch stream to relax

2. What is your go-to comfort meal for when you’re ill or have had a rough day?
I am nearly never ill, but some warm soup.
On a rough day, nothing special. I mostly eat because I have to lol

3. Do you have a movie or tv show you always watch when you take a sick day from work/school?
I would say Mister Nobody. Great film, but you have to watch it a few times to understand !

4. Do you power through an illness/rough day or do you cancel everything and spend the day in bed?
I'm on the cancelling side if I feel weak

5. Does your family have a “secret” to get rid of the cold or flu (ex: mom’s secret chicken soup recipe, sleeping with onions in your socks, taking a dip in cold water etc)? If so, please share!
We do not praise such voodoo.

6. How do you destress when you’ve had a really tough few days?
A beer or two helps a lot to destress ! Otherwise, same as question 1, a twitch stream and I'll get relaxed.

7. Do you have any bad habits/lean on vices when you’re stressed that you normally wouldn’t when things are going well?
Not that I noticed

8. Have you ever faked a sick day to take off work/school and then got caught? What was your experience?
No

9. What are your nervous habits?
I have a weird one. When I get nervous for a silly thing such has having to walk through a whole restaurant to the bathroom, i'll count my steps in my head (1, 2, 3...) until i'm in a "safe" spot. It makes me shuts my though that everyone is staring at me. Social anxiety is no fun !

10. Are you the type of person who visits the doctor every time you feel off or the type of person who refuses to go even when you’re on deaths door?
It indeed takes a lot for me to take an appointment.

1. Relax? What's that? In all honesty, I don't really have time to relax but when I do I enjoy a good dance class. My current dance class is tap

2. Homemade macaroni cheese

3.Not really, don't ever take a sick day

4. Power on, but moan about how ill i am.

5. No

6. Again either dance or yoga

7. Talking to myself/ talking everything out loud... my poor BF hates it

8. No

9. At work, twiddling the nib of the interactive whiteboard, everywhere else clenching my hands

10. Neither, generally i don't go to the doctors unless an illness persists for a long time and is completely unbearable but would go if I absolutely needed to.
