When I was 13 or 14 years old I received a science kit that included a coil based shock toy. It was mentioned as a surprise shock box. Very cool, but do be cautious about nipple stim. Whenever electricity comes into play, it's very important to make sure there's no chance of arcing current through the heart. There are some safe ways to do e-stim nipple play from my understanding (I don't generally do it myself); just be aware and make sure you're not taking any unnecessary risks!

I have done e stim play on and off when I have had the equipment and some of the most powerful orgasms I have had are due to e stim. It is certainly something I will do again when I can get the equipment again as I lost my last ones durin a move.

My very first jolt of that sort was enough to say no for decades. More recently I found out why it was such a painful sting. The pads or electrodes you use ought to touch over the whore surface. If there is only a tiny bit in good contact the whole charge will be lower but it will all go through that one point leading to said sting. Use some conductive lubricant to cause the charge to be distributed over the whole surface. Salt water or vinegar can be used in a pinch. But it may not last for long and may ruin any stickiness that a new pad may have.

Be very careful about using estim above the waist. Don't ever send a signal nipple to nipple. If you must (and you really don't) use a clip with positive on one side and negative on the other. Do only one nipple at a time. It will be safer because the current should flow from one side of the clip to the other and only through that nipple. I can't say that this is safe. I simply reason that it is better that from nipple to nipple. Watch out that the clip does not close when the estim is on. It could overheat the current limiting resistor in the unit. Bad news for your device.

In a bit of a update: I tried out my cheap-o electro toys again, this time testing the shock in my hand. I had a lot of fun with it. Never have so far, but i've watched a lot of vids on porn sites that featured e-stim and i'd really love to try it at least once - on the one hand. On the other hand, i'm really, really skeptical about it all. Plus it seems to be rather expensive and i'm not sure i want to put up quite some money for something where i'm not even sure whether i'll like it or not.

I tried what they used to call stereo estim back in the day... was a lot of fun but by today's standards fairly primitive and maybe not the brightest thing to do.. but it did work and I could cum if used the right setting or it could be painful with those settings... both worked depending on the situation

Many of them are very expensive. Those that are sold for the purpose of sexual e-stim carry a premium. You can get a, as you say, decent TENS unit, for medical purposes for less than the price of a good vibrator. I am not exactly sure what I paid for my two channel unit. I think it was about $50 with some extra pads, a clip electrode, and some conductive glue(to refresh the pads).
