Sounding isnt actually anything to do with a penis. Its about pushing something into the urethra where you pee from so yeah girls can do sounding too.

I have tried it twice its weird but doesnt hurt so much as feel strange. Guess it depends what you use... ive seen it done with stinging nettles.

Nope. Never tried sounding, although I've heard it can hurt and yet be stimulating at the same time. People have orgasms and they ejaculate while sounding, although I'm not sure if those are particular cases or a general result.

Sounding can be a very confortable experience full of new pleasures.
You have to do it right & use proper plugs.
There are many sites that offer surgical steel sounding items & plugs.
Higiene is very important, wash throuly your hands & items, use lube for first times & be very gentle with what you introduce in your urethra.
There are plugs that can be worn all day and are hollow so you can pee with them on.
If you have that "burning sense" when you pee is because you ripped the very thin skin of your urethra when you introduced something & with the salty pee gives you that sense. Be careful.
Dont use wood, ceramic, glass as they can be very rough or brake inside !!
Prefer stainless steel, plastic. The tip is very important, a straw may harm you. Choose rounded tips without edges.
& give yourself a new pleasure !!!

I used to insert cotton swab after properly wetting them to make sure the cotton won't detach from the stick. Probably because of the friction, I damaged the inside of my urethra which causes pain when I pee. Only for about a day though, sometimes the second day a little stingy. Later on, I bought a few sounds (4mm / 6mm / 8mm) but I don't use them so much. I bought them solely to stretch my urethra for the hollow sound (pee-tube) of a chastity cage, which is about 9mm in diameter at its thickest, 8mm overall.

I once put hot sauce (chili pepper sauce) on the cotton swab and inserted it half-deep into my urethra. Worst. Decision. Ever.
