Nipple piercings

I have been talking with a friend.

My birthday (36th) is comming up in a little over a month

She suggested I get my nipples pierced

So here are my thoughts

Am I to old
How bad does it hurt
How long does it take to heal
How will nipple play change

Let me know what you think

Horizontal, not vertical.

You're not too old.

I'm told the second one sometimes seems to hurt more than the first, but that the initial pain is quick. They can take a while to heal, so plan on taking excellent daily care of them for at least 6 months.

I'm also told that if you have a problem with swelling at the piercing site, barbells tend to heal more cleanly than hoops.

I have gotten my nipples pierced, and I love it. It hurt a lot, worse than any other piercing. It is great though, and I love them. It was worth the pain. If you don't mind the momentary pain, it is toally worth it.

Depends on your sensitivity and pain tolerance, as to change in nipple play - the only drawback is such nipples aren't suited to biting anymore (at least for me) as the metal gets in the way and gets quite unpleasant in contact with teeth.

I have heard this too. People get all sorts of weird stuff though. And everyone has different taste.

I know a few woman who have had nipple piercings and they say it makes their nipples more sensitive . They reckon it was no worse than having your ears pierced .

I got mine pierced two years ago. They healed mostly well, except when my dog jumped up and caught them...they healed again, but it hurt a bit. She's a 60lb Shepherd, lol. I did lose one, my left nipple...I lost the ball from the barbell and took the piercing out so I wouldn't lose that too...it closed up before I could replace it. I still have the right one pierced though, and I am happy to have gotten it done.

I may get it repierced. I have to wait at least a few more months, and then see what the piercer says. Depending on how the scar tissue is, I may have to get it pierced slightly differently. Because of how small my nipples are, my piercings are actually through the areola and not the actual nipple. This may complicate getting the left one repierced, but my piercer will make the determination on that later.

Ouch. So sorry that happened. Hopefully it doesn't scar to bad. Good idea leaving it to the professionals to make the decision!
