Ladies,

For the longest time conventional wisdom has posited that all men, and especially straight men, get a lot of pleasure from watching lesbian sex, even where getting personally involved is a complete non-starter, as in porn.

Conventional wisdom has typically gone on to say that the reverse is hardly ever true -- men engaged in buttsecks or even kissing has tended to be a complete turnoff to women.

At this moment, I'm calling the assumption total bullshit. Something about horny good-looking guys getting busy, no matter that it's their doing it with each other, is a pretty powerful turnon, at least for straight women.

Am I wrong? And if so, how far wrong am I? Is it a thing where you, as a woman, would never watch it live, but could find porn kind of a turnon? Is kissing and fondling okay, but oral or penetration are icky? Or is it pretty much all a go ... ?

Could you elaborate a little on that? What exposure have you had? What is the nature of your non-attraction? Is it moral revulsion, it's evil? Do you think gays are not sexually attractive? I imagine that I've missed the mark, but it's hard to speculate.

What can you tell me?

Opps, I meant it is true lol.

I'm pansexual, so it's hardly my place find any orientation weird. I think it's sorta ... well I dunno. If i had to put it down to something i suppose it would be because it's to do with the unobtainable. you know, how people want what they can't have. But, saying that, I do think there is more to why I like it.The people who don't like it, don't like it because they are conditioned to not like it. Sure, people aren't as homophobic as before, but alot of people grew up being told it was wrong. so they might consciously be okay with it, but subconsciously, they are still at odds with it.

Nature also comes into play. Men naturally lean toward polygamy and females toward monogamy. if you look into the history of polygamy, 9 times out of ten, there will be one man, and multiple women. So, lesbian's fulfil this desire in men. And the opposite is true. Women were used to being with one man, and thus the idea of two men is not inviting.

This is also my theory about why lesbians are generally more accepted then gays. But take my opinion with a grain of salt, because I'm only 17 and this is just bit's and pieces I've read or heard about linked up in some semi conclusive way. This doesn't take into account why straight men find gay men threatening. I have no idea for that.

I share your sentiments about its being hotter with straight guys. I suspect it's related to the extra level of tension; the stakes are higher, with nearly-equal and opposing deep-seated sensibilities aroil. On the one hand, fierce and wanton lust for pleasure, and on the other, a slightly neurotic conviction that doing it with another guy makes him weak and shameful.
