Oh I am really hoping Depp finds the funding to launch this getDare project. Also, since I believe he is out near Hollywoodland, especially compared to me, he could help arrange film sets and technical expertise.

Considering getDare would be taking the business risk, I would direct the film creation for only 10% of the profits. Depp/getDare would get 90%.

I think there's a 1% chance this may even be seriously considered as an idea.

1) Skeptics & Naysayers

I’m not surprised that my movie plan is met with disbelief. It is a quite typical state of mind. It seems most people want to have that ‘master’ come along and instill that ‘can-do’ spirit in them. I suppose it is natural for humans to want someone to take notice of them and push them up to a higher level of being. But most people trudge along in the daily boring grind of life, never taking a chance, never scaring them selves. But amongst them are people who will take an idea, no matter how strange, and dare to make it a reality. Dares are not just BDSM related, dares can be about anything. Did you notice I used the word ‘dare’?



2) The Business Plan

So how much money will it take to create this low budget getDare movie? $200,000 U.S.
And how much gross income will this movie produce? Conservatively $15,700,000 U.S.


You ask where these numbers come from? Comparable low budget films would be these actual films:

I make the assumption of the getDare film being only 25% as successful, so I estimate $15,700,000 gross income. And $200k can be found and is a reasonable amount to create this film.

Where does the $200k come from? I propose this split: $80k, $80k, & $40k. Depp, I am certain I could go out and shake some people down and hustle up $80k, so you can do likewise, and the last $40k is an option for whoever else is interested. The numbers might change a bit, and of course anyone who participates writing wise, acting wise, and technical wise, would get a fair share. All the numbers I threw out in posts above would have to be revised. But it’s not really about money. It’s about creating an opportunity for people to use their skills, talents, and interests in a dare to create a movie about hidden desires. Money is just a scorecard.

Why would this film be successful? Because it touches on values most people keep hidden deep within themselves. Too many people suppress their hidden desires. Both in front of and behind the computer & movie screens. How many getDare users keep their getDare account secret from their family and friends? How many getDare users show a limit of “no public, no family, no friends, no social suicide”. Give the audience of all ages a chance to identify with and be touched by a character hidden within them selves.

What if we make the film and it totally flops? Eh, it’s only money. Most people live their lives as a slave to money and never attempt much. Others view money as a tool to be creative. It is a subtle difference that causes drastic differences in approaches to life.


3) Life is a Dare

What did I say above? “Most trudge along in the daily boring grind of life, never taking a chance, never scaring themselves.” I would think tinkering with forum software daily would become mind numbing. How many emoticons can you add, how many times can you tell people to post in the right place, how often do you make little software changes, etc, until you can’t stand it. How many people really dare to take a calculated risk to vastly change their life? Very few ever dare too. Dares aren’t just BDSM related. The skeptics and naysayers who think I wouldn’t push this through just don’t know me in real life.

4) Zman - It’s been a few days since you posted about taking the role of Cheetah. I hope you don’t feel ignored. Don’t just ask for the role, give us some good reasons why you would be a crowd pleasing Cheetah. Why would the audience like you? We would like to know.

I would be a good chimp becuase I have taken theater in school. I also take on the role by acting like that charictor got everything I do. I'm outgoing and some people say I'm a great acter. I could bring the younger generation of movie watchers becuase I'm not too old. Plus I could help out in makeing props and writing the script. That is why I think I should be chimp

I will happily take the thousands I secretly make of getDare advertising & subscriptions each month to fund this venture.... but only if I can have a part as a fully nude & female native. I also will need several slave girls to assist me around the set. These girls need to be in top physical shape, comfortable being objectified (by me), and ride Segway brand scooters AT ALL TIMES. I would also like to see a cameo by Mr.T. I fucking love that guy and he needs a part too! Would it be okay to hire him for Warrior Killichicka even though he is an outsider?

I certainly admire your interest and tenacity in landing the role of Cheetah. Here is the last step to landing the role. I really want to be sure you can be a very convincing chimpanzee to the audience. This role is extremely critical to the success of the film. Is there any chance you could post a picture here or in the albums as to your character's appearance? I'm sure BettyBoop could come up with something if you need the help. Remember, Cheetah should not look like the real you whatsoever!
