Look at other people's signatures and borrow & mix ideas. That's how I did it - although my .sig is quite boring, esp. now that I've cut it down... Don't do as I do, do as I tell you to do?  Pet Peeve Alert!  Please, please think of the childr... I mean, think of those using mobile devices and try to keep the signature compact! Limit the number of those lines!
