For me spanking is purely pleasurable. I do not usually get punished, and because of some abuse in my past, spanking is a limit when used in regards to punishment.
If you want more spanking, ask for it. Communication is key. I wanted to be spanked more, and wanted to push both of our comfort level in regards to the number of spankings, so we recently did a spanking thread before our wedding, and it was great!
