Keys and icecubes

Oookay, so we all know the key in a block of ice trick but here's some really quick variations that are attempts prevent you from getting to the ice and melting it with your hands/licking or smashing it or whatever. Both involve being able to secure the key somewhere above where your playing, well out of reach of any bound limbs The first is very simply to freeze the key in a chunk of ice of a size of your choosing but also to run string or thin rope or whatever into the ice alongside the key in such a fashion that you can then attach this string either to, say, a hook on the ceiling or by simply taping it to the ceiling. Once the ice has melted the key will drop to where you can get it.

A second variation, pictured below is to bundle a whole length of string into the ice cube with the key hanging below, and then attach it above you in the same fashion, this way the entire ice cube has to melt before you can get free but as it does it releases the string and lowers the key. With a bit of experimentation and planning; getting the right length of string etc, you can make it work like poetry; say your bound in a kneeling or sat position on the floor or laid on your front with your arms behind you. You can make the key lower practically right into your bound palms with careful placement ^^
