Jessica, suggest holding a coin to the wall with your nose while doing your corner time (and the Task/Darer could always add punishments for every time you let the coin drop -- but that is not a suggestion nor an attempt to have a special Someone request that of you to make your time more challenging!) I am by far no expert in corner time, and definitely no good at coin-holding, but the few times I was tasked with that, the coin helped me pass the time quiet effectively (even if it added all types of punishments for dropping over & over!).
