Mhhhh testing clamps i would consider wise. Dropping the tray would be highly distractive. Can't have that.
But you certainly cannot use your most evil clamps. They will need to stay on quite long without causing unhealthy situation.
I would really hate to encounter any disruption from this kind of details.
