I think that this is one of the big differences between the
ReTorDO section and the
Person Above section. Users in the Person Above section are mainly submissive users looking to get dares. When you post a thread in the ReTorDO section, you have users both submissive and dominant who read your thread and might post. Often the dares that are given are tailored to your preferences. The disadvantage to posting a thread of your own is that user may not find it intriguing enough to write a dare for you so you may not get any responses at all.
