Default Part 10

So I actually have part 10 now. Unfortunately, it's all plot development and the like, so if you really want to you can skip it (I take no responsibility for any later confusion, though). Enjoy!

New Character!
Amy (female)
Height: average-ish
Build: pretty much perfect, large (but not too big) breasts
Eyes: green
Hair: blonde

Part 10

Time/boring stuff skip, it is now Friday again (Wouldn’t it be great if life was like this?)
Sam was walking home from school (alone, boo-hoo) after a hard day of tests and other difficult school-type things. His head was down, hands in his pockets, thinking whatever it is that goes on in his head (no one actually knows, not even him). As he trudged along he heard footsteps in his direction and, looking up, he saw Amy coming towards him.

Now, Amy was one of the “popular girls.” She and Sam were the same age and had known each other since pre-school, where they used to be friends. As they got older, though, they stopped hanging out (Amy became very attractive and “popular” and Sam became, well… read the first chapter, you’ll get it). After they stopped being friends they mostly ignored each other, except for the occasional passing greeting (usually from Amy). So it was to his great surprise when she slowed down to walk next to him.

“Hi Sam!” said Amy cheerfully. “How’s it going?”
What Sam thought: Holy shit a girl is talking to me! A popular girl! A hot popular girl!
What Sam said: “Uh, hi! I’m fine, uh, how are you?”
“I’m good,” Amy replied, not seeming to notice Sam’s awkwardness. “Where are you going?”
What Sam thought: “Oh my god she’s not even asking about homework or anything!
What Sam said: “Uh, home. What about you?”
“Oh, nowhere. I’m just BORED,” said Amy, as though this was the worst thing in the world.
Sam’s heart fell.
“So I was thinking,” Amy said, “that maybe you might wanna hang out with me?”
Sam’s heart rose.
“I’m free tonight, actually,” she continued. “There’s this awesome new movie I want to see and we could even get a bite to eat before at this great little place I know.”
Sam’s voice finally caught up with his brain. “Uh, Amy?” he asked nervously.
“Uh, Sam?” she replied, grinning.
“Amy, are you asking me out on a date?”
There was a moment of silence.
“Well…” Amy paused. “Yeah, pretty much.”
What Sam thought: Am I dreaming?
What Sam said: “Am I dreaming? Oh, shit! I mean, uh…”
Amy laughed, “It’s okay Sam, it is kind of sudden. So is that a yes?”
“Yeah, of course!”
“Great!” Amy’s grin got bigger, if that’s possible. “Stop by my house at around 6:00 tonight, we can walk from there. Do you know where I live?”
What Sam thought: No.
What Sam said: “Yes.”
“Cool, I’ll see you then, Sam!” And with that she ran off to do whatever it is girls do before a date.
Sam continued on his way home, much happier and slightly more confused, his mind moving in ways he had only dreamed it someday might.

Meanwhile, Mike, Joe and Tom were also walking to their respective homes.
“Hey, so you guys wanna sleep over at my house tonight?” asked Mike.
“Yeah, sure,” replied Joe.
“Yeah, me too,” echoed Tom.
“Awesome!” said Mike enthusiastically. “That just leaves Sam? Where is he, anyway?”
“He had to stay after to talk with a teacher or something,” answered Joe. “I’ll call him.”
Joe pulled out his cell and dialed Sam’s number. It rang for about a minute, then…”
“Hello?” Sam’s voice came over the phone.
“Sam, it’s Joe. I’m here with Tom and Mike and…”
“Yeah, I know,” interrupted Sam, “I can see you guys.”
Joe turned around, which prompted the other two boys to do the same, and they saw Sam jogging to catch up with them.
“Haha, nice timing,” laughed Sam. “What were you saying?”
“Joe and Tom are coming over to my place tonight, you want in?” asked Mike.
“Nope,” said Sam, grinning hugely. “I have a date.”
There was a long pause.
“Okay, nice one Sam,” said Joe, grinning at last. “You almost got me, but then I actually thought about and realized, of course not.”
“No, I’m serious!” Sam said, still happy. “Amy asked me to dinner and a movie.”
“Amy, that popular chick you used to be friends with way back when?” inquired Tom.
“The same,” answered Sam.
“Wow, I think he’s telling the truth, guys,” said an astounded Mike.
“This is unbelievable!” gasped Joe. “And the sun hasn’t gone out or anything!”
“And if Sam can get a date, that means there’s hope for all the other idiots out there!” added Tom.
“Quick, call the papers, call the news, call the president!” continued Mike.
“You know, what you guys aren’t gonna bring me down, not tonight,” said Sam.
And with that he strutted off, shining with joy.
The other boys continued on too, still laughing and cracking jokes at Sam’s expense.
It would be a night for all to remember…

To be Continued

Disclaimer: I will do my best to post new parts to the story as fast as I can, but (as I'm sure the other writers out there know) that's easier said than done.
