I would choose the second option. Most hotel rooms are not on the first floor, and I could mostly avoid being right by the window. Plus I wouldn't spend a ton of time just in my hotel room. If anyone saw me, I'd probably never even know it, but if someone saw me walking nude in the hallway, they'd be right there.
