Yes that is a problem. I have seen it happen for myself too. It might be simply that they are away for a couple of days, but if they do they should inform me that they are on leave and I will (temporarily) remove them.
Besides every once in a while removing people who do not confirm their activity, there is really nothing I can do about it.
