No, that's simply not true. What you're thinking of is the term 'trap'. There are feminine guys who identify with the term 'trap' which originated from anime/hentai afaik. 'Shemale' is a porn term for trans women and it's pretty fucking offensive. Some trans women who work in porn have started trying to "take back" the term and make it less shitty, but it's just shitty all around.

I'm a trans woman (no I don't have a dick before anyone asks) and the only times I've been called that is by people trying to hurt me (like when I eventually disclose that I'm trans to a potential date). It's the same with "tranny". People know they are offensive and that trans women really don't like them. They are slurs, simple as that. They are only used to put us down and reinforces the whole stupid idea that we're not "real" women.

Yes, I know 'shemale' is an established porn them and that's fine. Porn is hardly known or being very friendly. I mean shit, they still call black women 'ebony' and so on. I have no problems with it being used for porn, the problem is when people can't tell porn from reality, which unfortunately, is far too common.
