I work in a clothes store and honestly, you don't even have to say they're for your girlfriend or anything. Men buy women's clothes all the time it's not weird at all. We never wonder who they're for because mostly no one really assumes anything or really cares. I think you may be thinking into it a bit much but if you are worried then I'd suggest shopping online.
