Juliet looked around, hoping to god a dog that wasn't entirely fearful of humans. One looked at her.
"I pick that one." She pointed to the large dog. She felt bad as she thought the dog looking at her was a sign of improvement and she didn't want to undo the improvement but, it was best to pick one that could handle some kind of interaction with humans.
Both for her and the dog. Otherwise, the dogs that can't may never improve.
After getting the reluncant dog in the car, Juliet sat in the back of the car. Luckily since people were watching, being in the cage was impossible for the man to make her do.
She knew what would come when she gets to wherever she's being taken to, though.
