I did drool a lot, but it didn't get on my phone. I made sure to keep a little distance between the dildo and my phone. I also put my phone on top of a thin book, since my dildo was to large to be able to reach the button otherwise. If you're worried, maybe use a piece of cloth to cover the bottom of the phone.
