Speed is probably the least important factor in a spanking, it's good for a show but ultimately is going to result in a short-term sting on some barely-pink cheeks and a sore arm with nothing substantial to show for it.

My machine can use any of my implements. The only one that might give it trouble are the very heavy wooden paddles, but I would argue that those aren't as effective in a self-spanking anyway, due to their weight.
And of course I rigged up a portable base — despite being able to clamp the machine to most of the furniture I own — and use an extension cord, what do you take me for? Some kind of amateur?
