I think, if you really need confirmation one way or the other, that skyping is a good choice. It's bloody hard, faking a female OR male voice for a conversation imo. Let your Dom/sub send you pictures when the time has come for both to feel safe about it... As someone stated, this IS the internet, so one needs to be careful and it has a damn long memory.
