If you only have enough interest for one calendar and photos are the main call, try and do it as even male/female as you can.
If there are lots of people {male + female}/photos, create a male calendar and a female calendar.
If there's lots of artwork, create an purely artwork/image calendar.
If the layout is the same, just changing the background image is all that's required it shouldn't be too hard to make multiple calendars.
