I always find revisiting my characters' statuses helps me get back into the beat of writing, so...
Justine Brant
Caucasian American. After coming to terms with her attraction for her daughter, Justine is more than ready for whatever comes next. She has put her body and soul on the line to protect her daughter from the repercussions of the deal gone south with the drug dealers. She is ready to launch her online porn career to start making money, and she's also considering getting some protection from a local criminal outfit by joining the staff of the Dragon Lounge as a stripper.
Tina Flack
Hybrid Caucasian-black, Justine's daughter is now dealing with the consequences of her actions; she has become a slave to the Rat Pack, who bought out her debt to Samson in exchange for her sexual services. With her newly found love and admiration for her mother, she feels like she can overcome any difficulties thrown at her.
August Rand (and his mother, Juniper)
August is the landlord of the complex where Justine, Tina and Pinky live. How he came to have his money is still a mystery, but he allows them to live there in exchange for sex. He also helped Justine in her first porn video, although he did it anonymously.
August is also housing his elderly mother on the third floor, and she seems not to mind what he does with his time.
Pinky
Another tenant of the Rand flat, a former victim of abuse whose life was turned around thanks to a nurse (who got her in touch with August) and August himself. Running her own internet porn site, she is now making ends meets. She also operates as a prostitute to a select clientele.
Samson (and his bodyguards)
Part of a drug dealing outfit in the area, well-placed in the power structure, Samson is not afraid to use his power and influence to get his way. He is crafty, not to mention always well-protected. After having his way with Tina for her unpaid debts, he now has an agreement with Justine to deal only with her, leaving Tina alone.
Jaylee Porter
Stripper, friend of Justine, now dancing at the Dragon Lounge. She has a very controlling boyfriend.
Aisha (escort)
Hired by Justine to have sex with her daughter, the young escort is also a member of the Dragon Lounge family.
Isaac (at the Dragon Lounge)
Asian-American, one of the owners and security staff of the strip joint, honorable to a fault, he insures the safety of his girls, never touching them without their approval or without paying for it himself.
The Rat Pack (Tommy Piccolo, Peter Lamont, Kyle Sangster)
The three rich kids currently own Tina's services, renting them out on a daily basis in school, and then on Friday and Saturday nights at one of their pads. They've all indulged in her company (Tommy even bringing in his girlfriend Jayna on it).
Tommy is the most considerate of the three, always mindful of Tina's well-being despite her status as a slave.
Haley
Tina's former drug supplier; he traded in drugs for sexual favors until he was found out by Samson.
Robert Flack
Tina's after, African American, currently out of the picture.
