JUSTINE BRANT, 31 years old
Born from a very Christian family, her father dead in the war, Justine was cast out by her mother Teresa when she became pregnant at 16. Since then, her life has slowly spiralled away from her control. Her mate Robert left when Tina was only two years old. She has worked multiple jobs to make ends meet. Most recently, she became an exotic dancer, but the bar she worked at was raided by the police.
Justine is still pretty because she keeps herself that way. She works hard on her figure. Her breasts are impressive, natural as they come, often entering the room before she does. She sports short brown hair. She has a tattoo on her lower back representing a bird taking flight.
She and her daughter have left their old flat and moved in to August Rand's home. All Justine has to do to stay there, room and board included, is to sleep with Rand once a day.

TINA FLACK, 15 years old
Daughter of Justine and Robert; she grew up in a small apartment. Since her mother was so busy working all the time, she was raised by Old Lady Ludmilla Thompson, her neighbor, until she died, a year ago. Tina is shy and introverted at school. She has no friends.
Physically, she is small in stature (barely 5') and very slim, possibly anoxeric or bulimic. She is still pretty with her angular face, dark eyes and dark hair. Her mixed black/white heritage makes her stand out in a crowd.
She has recently found out that her mother is sexually active, and has decided to fool around with her.

AUGUST RAND, in his forties
Former porn star, independently wealthy, he runs a house for women in dire straits. A confessed sexaholic, he trades in their rent for sexual favors, or sometimes other types of favor.

PINKY, 18 years old
Former runaway and prostitute, she now lives in the Rand house, where she runs her own sexual needs service from the internet, without interference from a provider.
She is very thin, sports pink highlights in her hair and always dresses provocatively.

HALEY, 19 years old
Young man, out-of-school, dirty blonde hair, fun-loving. He is Tina's pusher, providing her with light drugs in exchange for favors of all kind (since she has no money to pay).
However, Hayley is visited by his supplier, who has discovered his backroom deals, and gets sanctioned for it, and forced to give his special clients' list.

SAMSON PEREZ, 25 years old
Part of a drug cartel, he was Haley's provider. He got on to his special dealings with his clients after Hayley forgot to pay some of his own debts. He has now taken charge of those numbers on Hayley's list.
He is latino, sports short curly hair, and likes to wear a brown suit with shirt and tie that don't match, as a look.

ROBERT FLACK, 33 years old
Former husband to Justine, he disappeared from her life two years after his daughter Tina was born. Barely 18 at the time, he was supposedly unable to cope with the stress of being a father. His whereabouts are unknown.
He is an African American male

OLD LADY LUDMILLA THOMPSON
A former prostitute, recently deceased at a ripe old age, she was Tina's surrogate mother for twelve years before departing for the next world only about a year ago. She lived on her pension. Despite her age, she still entertained a few customers every now and then. She was always careful to do so when Tina was away, but she wasn't always successful.

JAYLEE PORTER, 24 years old
An exotic dancer who works at many clubs in town. She lives with her unnamed boyfriend. When she was in a bind, a few years back, she used some kind of resource to help get her back on her feet.
Jaylee is latina in ethnicity, although she was raised locally. She has long curly black hair and a dimple on her chin.
