The first anime I ever saw was Detroit Metal City. I one of those really bad anime without any real plot, but there are some parts which had me crying in laughter.
After that I watched Death Note, Code Geass, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Angel Beats, SAO, Clannad. The best being FMA.
I finished Madoka Magica a few days ago, it was surprisingly good.
