I really like this concept. I will attend as a Master.
I also think that there needs to be some ceiling on the number of points a Master can spend during the auction. Give everyone 1000 points or some other arbitrary number of points and let them bid on whom they choose. Otherwise, this will be meaningless. Some master will walk of two or three slaves who will all be neglected and no one will be any happier when this is over than they were when it began.
