Pokemania and the geeks who used to / still love it.
 

I've played red, blue yellow, silver, ruby sapphire, emerald, leaf green, heart gold, platinum, pearl, diamond, black, ranger, explorers of time and pokemon stadium.

I've played them on NDS, Game boy colour and emulators.
I use only the NDS now, for black mainly atm.
I had a game boy colour for red, yellow, blue and silver.

Do i still play them? i play black sometimes...

Best pokemon game was probably the original red, blue, yellow, silver, gold and crystal.

Pokemon black and white was alright... the good thing is that there are more things you can do after the elite four.

And no i do not think the franchise should continue. Its gone on long enough and the new pokemon kinda look like crap.

the games are fun to play, I still like it after all those years. but I don't like the 5th generation of pokemon. no offense but it looks like they are running out of ideas at pokemon HQ. first 3 generations are still the best.

They should stop making the games for a while and then remake like red and blue and yellow. That'd be awshum.

I don't think so. I think its now just becomming a money spinner and have thought that since the 3rd Gen. True i did enjoy Diamond and Pearl but the TV series buggs me. The remakes are rather good and i had hoped for a game which would combine all world. Kanto, Johto and sinho and the other two but its looking unlikely now.

Original 150 was best, but the rest still have some good ones.

Pokemon is awesome, but the franchise has gone a bit too far and they're running out of ideas, obviously. It should end, but not abruptly, it should be slowly let down.
