Public nudity in Spain
 

Is it really legal to walk naked in the streets of Spanish towns?
Has anyone ever tried this?

I assume that even if it is legal, it is not common and socially acceptable

I have a friend it Barcelona. There are some city ordinances that make it illegal in certian places..... but overall it is legal to walk naked on the streets. The rule is that it cant be sexual in nature or cause a disturbance.

That would be really fun to enjoy public nudity without the risk of being arrested.

I have been fully naked on nude beaches in Spain. They can be quite busy and nobody minds at all. It’s even ok for women to be topless on regular beaches.

But I have never seen anybody naked on the street and I think it would be quite shocking even if it is technically legal.

It’s fun to think about though ;)

If I was naked on the beach people would laugh at me

If it is legal, I might go on a trip there and do some dares.

As far as I know nudity is common and legal on many Spanish beaches. Not sure if its legal in the streets. If it is I doubt anyone would ever do that. I have certainly never seen it anywhere. The thing is: just because its legal doesn't mean people would do it or approve of it. Also most people hate to be the odd one out so people won't get naked in public if they are the only one.

Its the same with being topless. Going topless in public by woman is legal in many places yet have you ever seen anyone do it? Nope.
