20/f 'motivated' studying
Hiya!
I have three exams next week, but right now I am sitting in the library and have been scrolling on getdare for two hours instead of studying. This happens to me way too often, I get distracted, loose focus and do something else. I want to motivate myself to study, or, more importantly, punish myself for losing focus. Any idea on that? Also, if someone has a suggestion on how to get my sleep schedule under control (wouldn't mind a 1:1 dynamic or something like that)... any ideas are welcome. My family is home nearly all the time, so vibrators are, unfortunately, out of the question. Also no walking around the house naked or anything like that, obviously. Whatever the suggestions are, they shouldn't take up hours of my time, because that would be very counter productive - my goal is to study. If you feel like it, you can be very rude or degrading in the replies, or you can set unrealistic standards, I kinda like that. But that is very optional. For every 15 minutes on getdare or reading smut you owe 30 minutes of studying. I mean serious studying, no getting on your phone for texting, browsing the web, studying and only studying. When you owe a study debt, you are not allowed to cum. You do have to edge for every one hour of study debt you owe. Whenever you are on getdare or reading erotica both of your holes must be filled, you can choose or ask someone to help you.
For example, say today you spend an hour on getdare and 30 minutes reading smut, you owe 3 hours of study time and three edges. 2 hours for getdare and 1 hour for erotica. Questions, comments, concerns? |
No cumming until you ace your exam. Every point off of 100 for each of your tests will result in one additional day of not cumming.

May I ask what you're studying (and at what level) and what percentage constitutes a success? Also, it'd be good to know what study materials you have available. Do you have past papers or sample exams? Do you have a textbook (or textbooks) that the exams are based on? Notes from class/lectures?
Sleep is important and sleeping properly is hard, maybe harder than passing exams. My two top tips would be to get up early-ish tomorrow (7 or 8 AM) no matter what time you go to bed tonight. You'll be knackered for the day but if you force yourself you'll be pretty exhausted come bed time and find it MUCH easier to get up the next day. It'll hurt but it's worth it. My second sleep tip is to take lots of breaks from your studying and go for half hour walks. Studying is hard and you can only absorb so much at a time, getting fresh air and exercise will mean that not only will you study better but by the end of the day you'll be mentally exhausted from the studying and hopefully your body will be at least a bit tired from the walking (rather than bursting with energy from sitting around all day). |

thanks for the tips! problem: i have to get up at 6am anyways because my lectures mostly start at 8 and the way there takes me over an hour. i also try to get movement in by walking to / from the library and uni, and cycling to the train station and back (that's a pretty long way). i am constantly very exhausted, but can't get myself to put away my phone in the evening (it's a mix between insomnia, anxiety and doom scrolling...). that's why i think strict rules made by someone who isn't me or my parents might help. |

As for phone or internet based procrastination, there's an app for that. They're designed for parents to monitor/control children's access but the work pretty well for grownups too. I'm not at my pc just now but when I get home I'll pm you some links if you can't find them yourself. |
