i cannot answer because chips from a proper english chippy kick arse
but then again sometimes you get a set of mcd's chips that are heavenly to me !!

but i guess overly the consistency of chippy wins and chips are more frequently better!

Where I come from both would be called fries. Nobody says chips around here unless you are ordering fish and chips. As far as I know, in the US there is no difference.

There is a diffrence, both taste diffrent!!
