A simple way to detect fake pictures.
 

I LOLed at some recent album images a user uploaded today as I've been seeing them all over the internet for years. Up until this point we have allowed fake users because, well, we cant really prove your identity. I don't want to get involved in that. I'm not gonna change the rules but I will give you guys a good resource to check out images with.

Meet tineye.com. TinEye is a reverse image search. You upload the image you suspect is fake, and TinEye tells you where else the image is being used online. It's far from perfect but still works most of the time.

I searched an image that I know to be in many other places and I got 0 results so I would not recommend using this because it is very inaccurate.

This is pretty cool! I've been scanning the site and noticed a lot of people are probably not who they say they are, but a lot of them don't have pics, someone should get on making a way to dectect those users lol.

I disagree with you fork I ran a number of less common images through it and it found matches and also for the popular ones, I say great find depp!
Of course it won't find every match 100% but it does a good job!

Yea, I'm not saying this is 100% accurate. I'm just saying this is a good tool to keep in your skeptics arsenal. I've found it useful at times and hope you do as well. :)

It's also more effective if you save the photo to your computer and use the browser function.

I did save it on my computer.. it was a picture of me, that I myself put up other places.. I got no results.

wow i'm pretty good at guessing, not going to name names but alot of the "newer quite attractive users" popped up... saw it from a mile away...
