The fun is in just giving up control. Yeah, I have stuff that I would rather not have people see, but if they do...so what? A lot of it is the humiliation factor, and part of it is that it doesn't matter. Chances are they'll never meet me in real life anyway.

Most passwords aren't stored in plain-text, so there is very little real risk, plus you ultimately have control. If they start to do something really bad like delete files or something, you can turn off their control.

This dare is so much fun though, v weird seeing someone else controlling your computer, browsing your photos, setting your avatar and desktop backgrounds etc. Highly recommended.
Top tip is to open a blank notepad up so you can ask questions of each other

Firstly, imagine if you get burgled and the thieves steal your computer....

Second, if you have very sensitive files on there, I recommend you get TrueCrypt and use that to store all your really personal stuff in. (you basically create a large file and use TC to mount it as a new drive, its heavily encrypted so don't forget the password)
