what's that golden thing thats speaking HAVE I FORGOTTEN THE NEW EPISODES ALREADY!! D: or is it from an older episode cause the only old episode ive seen is with what i can only explain as a green bubble wrap monster, im ashamed with myself that i have not seen more :(

The gold-domed Dalek is the Dalek Emperor but it's never seen in the TV series. A white and gold variant is seen in "Remembrance of the Daleks" (1988).

There is a gold Emperor Dalek in the new series but... it's a bit bigger...

nah it'll never pull off. the green bubble wrap monster has been on bbc4 alot so that's why you've only seen it. it was the first old one i watched. Tho there was a dalek emperor in the doctor who games.

can't have an american in that role no matter how big the show gets.

wooo finished the troughton era :) boo now iv go jon pertwee. Dis like him so far. then again i am only onto episode two. Silurians originals (Y)

Agreed. No offence to anyone but I'm the sort of fan who believes we should cast a British male every time. I'm not against a black Doctor though. That could be an interesting change :)

And yeah. Pertwee's my least favourite alongside Davison but he does have some great stories.

Most definately. Things just wouldn't be the same if the Doctor was played by an American. Ugh...I'm just imagining him with some horrid hillbilly southern accent...I think I'm going to cry...
