Rucksacks and Public Nudity

This isn't a full dare but you can of course make up the rest of the details yourself or combine it with another dare.

Buy one of those cheap combination locks (unless of course you have one).

Get a rucksack which has two zippers to a zip. Leave your house and go to a location of your choice. Remove as much clothing as you dare and place them within the rucksack. Put the combination lock through both the zippers, close the lock and spin the combination wheel to lock it. You should be unable to unzip your rucksack with clothes inside now.

You need to make sure you cannot remember the combination else it will not work. So now you cannot get into your bag with the clothing inside, you are helpless and must get home with little or no clothing.

Now you can write down the combination on a note and put it in a location of your choice (this of course could simply be home) or get a friend to text you the number after a certain amount of minutes.

The best thing to do is set it up the night before so you are likely to forget what the combination is. If your padlock is one which you have had for a while and you remember the combination easily, you can change the default combination. You do this by pushing the shackle down, but so that it does not go into the hole of the lock. You can now spin the dial to set a new code, make sure the numbers are lined up properly so that it does not get stuck when you open the shackle again.

Sorry if I didn't explain this very well, it is hard to describe at times.

You can of course do this with a regular padlock but you need a friend to "help you" by taking the key from you afterwards. This is simply a more practical way of doing this.

A few scenarios:-

1)Give yourself the code to begin with but you have to solve a puzzle or maths problem in order to work it out.

2)Good beginner tasks - Go to the car on your street, get undressed there and run back to your house.

Enjoy.

Nice idea.

Only problem I can see is dealing with the locks and getting a photo or note of the code whilst not noticing or remembering it.

I guess you could make a random and unmemorable code, make the note/puzzle/etc and then leave it a while until you forget, and then do the dare.

Also most combonation locks need to be set to the correct code to open - allowing you to put your clothes in when you are in the woods. Which could be a problem.

One, albeit wasteful solution could be to put a set of clothes in the rucksack when you know the code, wait until you forget and then take it with you whilst you are dressed in another set of clothes (to get to where you want to do the dare), but take a pair of fabric scissors with you and when you arrive at your dare site remove your current clothes and cut them up so that they are unwearable. You will then be left with your only other pair of clothes on the other side of a combonation lock.

I hope you can understand what I am trying to say, and I also hope that what I am saying helps, in some way once it has been decoded... Im tired. Don't blame me.

I had a similar idea a while ago, and I might have a solution to the remembering the combo problem.

Rather then use a combo lock, use a key lock. Open the lock, then freeze the key in a block of ice. Then do everything as above, only now you are stuck out there until the ice melts and you can get to the key.

Depending on the size of ice block you make, you could be there for hours if you like! (And if you are worried, try melting it once at home to see how long it would take)

I think the simplest way to do this is just use a padlock that requires a key instead of a combo and leave the key at home on the kitchen counter or something. No need to deal with memory or numbers.
