I'm bi and realized in probably my late teens or like end of high school? I'm in a longterm relationship with a guy, so I'm out to pretty much everyone in my personal life

NerdGirll 10-19-2017 04:36 PM

Everyone assumes I'm straight - straight until proven otherwise, right(?)
I tell people if they ask that I'm bi, since it's easier than explaining what pansexual is, and I think I'm pansexual.

But I also think labels only help up to a point, like I'd rather people ask questions than assume they know what something means.

Honestly, I might be bi, pan, demisexual, or maybe just bicurious.
I don't know and I'm ok with that

I don't really have a story, i'm sorry to say.

I came out as bisexual in 2015. Nobody had a problem with it.

Apart from that, i can only agree with Zombie Ninjas 7. People are far more important than Genitalia.

Pansexual but I tend to just say bi because having to explain what pan even is gets frustrating.

Don't really have a story. I never felt the need to come out or tell people, I just do my thing and if someone asks then I'll tell. Realized when I started being interested in other people.

People more important than genitalia has to be one of life’s greatest mantras. I love it

With 145 votes so far straight people only make up 40% of those voting. This would seem to indicate the official statistics of only circa 2% being LGBTQ a little low!

Bisexual. I'm not sure that there was an 'aha' moment, I've always realised that I'm attracted to both guys and girls. Most of my friends know this, but there's no coming out moment either.

DanB258 11-01-2017 07:26 AM

Straight 67 40.61%
Bisexual 55 33.33%
Pansexual 16 9.70%
Gay 19 11.52%
Asexual 8 4.85%

If you add pansexual and bisexual together, people willing to have sex with more than one gender are the most common sexuality so far

Edgeandenial 11-01-2017 12:12 PM

100% straight!!!

Bobcat 11-01-2017 02:12 PM

only 14 votes between straight and bisexual at the moment

DanB258 11-14-2017 10:30 AM

With 192 votes cast those that prefer one gender, i.e. straight and gay are in the majority with 98 votes against those who don't i.e. pansexual and bisexual who have 85 votes and just 9 people who are Asexual.

cearul8 11-15-2017 01:51 AM

I voted for "pansexual" but I actually call myself "demisexual, pan-everything else"

poetrylover828 11-15-2017 06:58 AM

I'm bi and I just sorta blurted out that I was. So if your family is pretty chill that works.

chevans 11-16-2017 09:07 AM

Straight. Had a brief period of liking girls, but now it's men all the way.
