Best music to listen to for sensory deprivation play?

Hey

So me and this girl I know are gonna do some bondage before too long. That should be fun. Anyway she was telling me about the stuff that she likes, and one of them was sensory deprivation, blindfolds, headphones etc. She say's it's far more exciting not knowing what's about too happen. Sounds fun, definitely. As a switch I hope to one day enjoy this.

I was thinking about how easy a blindfold would be, and as would sticking a pair of earphones in her ears, the bud ones, that'll kill any sound, however what music do I play? Something too heavy may take her out of the mood, something with lyrics may put her mind somewhere else, something too quiet may put her to sleep. I was thinking maybe some ambient, but at the same time that may sensualise the whole ordeal too much and that's not the impact I want to have - rather than being slow, soft and relaxing, I'd rather she was on edge, lost in the anticipation of what's coming next, so I can then tease her properly and every move I make on her will be both shocking and exciting. Sort of like watching a jumpy horror movie, gets the heart going, y'know?

Anyway what music do you think I should play? If any? I don't want her to hear a thing. Perhaps white noise? Though I think that could be distracting

idk ideas? any of you done this before? Tbh I'm very inexperienced as a dominant, though I'm sure I'll manage just fine.

Cheers guys :)

How far in to sensory deprivation do you want to go?

If you are keeping things light (masks/blindfolds/sound) I personally found myself enjoying it more when I heard heavy bass music. Something with a strong beat that I wouldn't normally listen to (dubstep or dance music) as it also took me out of my comfort zone. I also enjoyed listening to porn during it, it got me more excited but I couldn't see it so had to use my imagination.

My dom got the best reaction out of me when using discomforting sounds (hissing, scraping, screaming, growling sounds). It put me very much on edge.

If you are moving further in to sensory deprivation (deprived of sleep, unsure of time, no meals etc) then I found having 1 continuous tone to be the most effective. I couldn't place the time or how long I had been there.

Wow porn, that's a fantastic idea! As for dance music/dubstep, that's not a bad idea either. I reckon some heavy trance may do the trick nicely, enough to keep you on edge, but at the same time to keep you in the zone.

I think due to her inexperience, as with mine, anything further would be a little too much at this point. Sounds like screaming, scraping, hissing and growling would likely unnerve her past the point of where she wants to be. I would hardly say that me and this girl are particularly close anymore, it's only by chance that we're doing this - on a casual basis of course.

Again, the same with further deprivation, though all of which sound very interesting in their own way, perhaps in the future, I guess stuff like that would take a more serious relationship between sub and master

I think generally a really nice thing is rain. The sound of rain can be mesmerizing and it would stand in a direct contrast to the (possibly rough) things done to the body.

I think that exactly this contrast might be the way to go.

Only my opinion though :)

Do you have any direct experiences of these?

In an earlier topic, I had talked about "tricking the mind", one the things I mentioned I really liked there was losing a sense of time, albeit that in itself was not directly sexual. I'm interested to hear stories of this flavour of deprivation from anyone here that might of experienced it.

Good luck, Digital! I hope you enjoy what's to come ;)

I've found white noise to be highly effective. They lose all track of time, are slightly annoyed by it but not overly so, it's just distracting enough that they don't realize anything is coming till it does but they still feel the full effects of it. And they can't hear a thing coming especially with ear muffins over the bud style head phones

Have you tried something that'll somewhat elevate the mood spiritually? Like, let's say crank Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata to eleven as you prod and poke? That can be very interesting if you are so inclined.
