Since handing out Cornertime is a huge like of me, I am hosting a new Cornertime challenge over October.

The big Boys versus Girls..... Cornertime Competition

Everybody can join. At the end of October I will count the total of Boys-cornertime and compare it to the total of Girls-cornertime to decide who wins. However..... there are some special rules! I have set them such that I think the thread is interesting to both beginners and experienced people.

Rules:
- Minimum time: 5 minutes
- Maximum time: 90 minutes
- Must be done naked or pants down, facing a wall or corner, standing or kneeling, hands on back.
- Addtional restraints (cuffs, buttplug) are allowed
- Uncomfortable or distracting additions (like coin pressed to wall) are forbidden since it needs to be just boring.
- Must write a decent report in order to make a valid contribution:
---- how did you feel before doing it
---- how did you feel during the time: begin, middle, end
---- how did you feel afterwards
- you can join as many times as you want but.......
---- 1st stand counts as full
---- 2nd stand counts as 1/2
---- 3rd stand counts as 1/3
---- Nth stand counts as 1/N
- however.... you can also choose to "redo" an earlier stand and improve its time
- Finish each report with the new boys & girls total such that it is clear who is ahead.

Thread ends by October-31 midnight european time, gmt+1.

Teamprice:
- All individuals of the winning team will be in my signature over November.

Next to that there are individual Commendations for:
- Longest individual time (using the 1/N-rule)
- Best report
- Funnies or most special Stand
- Best thread-promotor

This is an excellent idea! I bet there are plenty of people that like to do corner time.

Maybe I'll contribute some time of my own....

The fun thing, doing just 5 minutes will create a lead for the boys or girls. And one can always come back later to improve the time.....

Doing time for this thread will NOT become a task for my pet. I want her to completely free in deciding to join or not, and with what time. That's also more fair to the others.

Is there any benefit to suffering additionally during the time?

I did a corner time for ten minutes for the girls team

I was just browsing getdare and reviewing my spanking thread task log when I stumbled across this thread. I found it interesting and thought I would give it a go so I set an alarm for ten minutes and stripped and went to the corner of the room and stood naked with hands behind back.. as I stood there I started thinking about how creative this thread is and whether it is similar to the GvB game we play. Then I started thinking about ideas for my upcoming birthday thread.. but I couldn't focus on new ideas and felt blocked of creativity so started thinking about the spanking thread I just completed and how I should get back at Sain...lol Sain is lucky that the alarm went off soon...lol

I'm going to do this eventually

I want to do this but going to save my first corner time for when I can stand for an extended period of time. Don't want to face the full multiplier on just five/ten minutes corner time!

Understand that this is meant to just be boring boring boring but like the incentive of the losing team having an additional punishment rather than just prizes for winning.

Eg. Losing team collectively must complete X amount of corner time.

There is always the option to redo time to improve an earlier stand.

No,... No punishment for the loosers.... there are other threads for that.

Girls 10 minutes, a victorious lead on day-1!!!!

I saw this thread a yesterday; so, while I was staring blankly at a math problem (a Herstein "harder" problem if that means anything to you), so I figured I would multitask and stare at a wall at the same time. I set my alarm to 11 minutes, because 11>10.

I did get some thinking done before my short attention span wandered to how awesome it would be if I actually solved it like this; at which point I started thinking about how to explain my solution in this post; this quickly devolved into me explaining an elementary result. At some point in this I switch over to mind-singing in Japanese, then back to thinking how to write this post, then back to math.

I'm sure I missed alot above, but at some point in this, my alarm went off, and I hit snooze (force of habit) and started pacing around the room while my mind continued to wander (this part is normal for me), before forcing myself back to the computer to write this.

I still got distracted several times writing this (mostly following up on the above mentioned trains of thought).

My takeaway from this:

11 minutes is too short. It felt like my alarm went off as soon as I got into a headspace.

I have exactly 3 chirping critters outside my room.

Lagrange's theorem is trivial.

I have no idea why a and b are conjugate in N(P)

My room has terrible corners (The only accessible corner is a 45 degree angle).

My corner time report
 

Well, this was great timing! Lol. I was just thinking I deserved some time in the corner and like magic, this thread appeared!!! Lucky me!

I have spent more than my fair share of time facing the corner, but since I haven't served any corner time for a while I was actually a bit hesitant at the thought of forcing myself to serve some boring and embarrassing corner time.

So to start, I was totally naked and turned off the radio so that I had to stand facing that corner in totally BORING silence! I elected to face the corner, rather than the wall, so I would have no choice other than to stare at the corner. If just facing the wall, I would tend to be distracted by looking off to the sides, which would take away from how boring this actually is! I also elected to chain my hands behind my back, so I wouldn't be fidgeting. As I began, since I wax standing in total silence, I also decided not to use any timers and just see how long I could stand there for.

When standing in silence, I heard noises I never heard before, and it began to agitate me. I was so ready to just quit and see how long I had been standing there, but decided to keep standing for a while. I kept thinking wow, this is so boring, but then I reminded myself that corner time is punishment and isn't supposed to be fun and exciting, it's supposed to be boring and boring it was!

I simply couldn't stand it any more, so I decided to let myself out of the corner! RELIEF!!! I can't explain why I hated it so much this time, as I have spent hundreds, make that thousands and thousands of hours with my nose in the corner. It really has me wondering what made this time different.

Any ways, I spent a total of 34 minutes with my nose in the corner, so hopefully that at least helps us boys in this competition. I will continue to serve time in the corner, hoping to improve my time. Come on boys, we can't let the girls win this competition! What better way do you have to spend your time than facing the corner?!! Let's win this guys!!!!
