My main reason is the sexual arousal from having my genitals exposed, but for years now I actually can't fall asleep if I'm wearing any bottoms—the feel of contact around my waste somehow keeps me wide awake.

I have lived the nudist life style since young and would live completely nude at all times if it was legalised in the uk .

I can't sleep while clothed, and I love the freedom of movement. (Not to mention I have a bit of an exhibitionist side...)

I have never seen an issue with the human body, male, female or otherwise. Clothes for me are a necessity for safety and legality.

I would think there are more nudists here?

I just like the feeling of not wearing clothes. Its so comfortable, relaxing and free.

I'm both a nudist and an exhibitionist, and it's a different mindset depending on the context of the situation. As a nudist, I enjoy feeling the air, sun, and water (if available) directly on my skin. It's also been my experience that people seem to be more polite and respectful of your space at clothing-optional beaches than "textile" beaches.

In normal live i am clothed, but i like being naked. I sleep naked. Like being naked at home when that is practical and when it is warm (summer evenings mostly), i like being naked in the sauna and i like going to nudist-campgrounds.
It is nothing arrousing or sexual. It just feels nice and relaxing. Nudist-campgrounds are often located at much nicer and quite locations. As someone said earlier, people are often more friendly in nudist places.
