This is my first attempt at this kind of thing sorry if its not great but comments suggestions and constructive critism will be accepted and taken on board.
Also, I'm writing this on my phone, so there may be a few cock ups.

'Hey, James, your dad and I are heading out to Vegas to check up on the casino, fire a few, hire a few. The usual. You Ok, home alone for a few days?'
That sentence threw James off completely.
'Um, Yea, sure, I think, erm, how long for?' He replied.
'Friday lunchtime through Tuesday morning' came the response from his mother who was clearly bored.
'Um sure, I guess'
'Good, no friends over, ok.'
'Just one, please.' James begged
'Fine.'
James could hardly believe his luck.

He spoke to Greig and Harris the next day
'See you guys at my place on Friday at 5 sharp.'
'Why?' Grieg asked.
'The two are staying over for the weekend.'
'Cool,' they both said
Bring some clothes, your phones, and Xbox controllers, K'
'k'
After Harris left, James told Greig what else to bring...
