Atheist, libertarian and apolitical!
|
Yeah it's "Atheist," not "Atheistic." :p
I fall somewhere between libertarian and leftist. A free market is a fine ideal, however I believe a certain infrastructure is extremely important when it comes to the poor and working class. |

"Religious," "spiritual" and "agnostic" are all adjectives and nouns. So, going with the adjective "atheistic", instead of the noun "atheist," is still consistent with the other religious options. In all honesty, since I was rushing, I probably wrote "atheistic" because it sounds like "agnostic." Either way, I appreciate the comments and participating in the poll. :) |
Since some are sharing their choices publicly, I will play along:
I am spiritual (though I greatly respect the religious), conservative and libertarian. |

For those who choose "libertarian" I would love to know if they lean left or right. In the U.S.A. libertarians are usually associated with the Republican Party, but I wonder if that is the case in the rest of the world?

I'm a leftist atheist. Or an atheist leftist.;-)

Somewhere between agnostic and atheist - I really haven't made up my mind yet.
Also hovering around leftist, I agree with a lot of the ideas of liberals but I also think they can just be really fucking stupid to the point I just want to disassociate myself from them lol. But if push came to shove I'd always choose liberal over conservative. |
I don’t affiliate myself with any organized religion, but I am interested in spirituality and the metaphysical.
This makes life more interesting to my mind because it’s a little boring to live in a dry atheistic world where there are no mysteries and wonders, and everything is explained (not). I like that people are attending the churches all over the country, and you can talk to them from time to time about religion and stuff. Still, I personally don’t feel like becoming a part of this mechanism. Maybe one day, but I am not sure about that. There’s too much hypocrisy about big organized churches, but it’s only my opinion. |
I'm Christian. I don't really follow a particular political party.

Used to be an athiest and then found that they are, mostly, puritans/Calvinists (believing in "work ethic" and an elect that is based on perceived intelligence/usefulness). I found that Christian leftists (mostly) believed truly in the worth of all individuals and extended love without judgement. I am nit worthy of love, but given it. We are to enjoy the beauty and experiences of the world with concern that everyone may enjoy the beauty and experiences of the world without judgement. Also why I am a far leftist. Jesus says "See the flowers of the field. They do not toil or spin". Yup.
