A question I have about the milestones

Let’s say you pass 500 then you lost 100 points between now and the end of the year. Would that void the task or is it a case of once you pass it, it’s going to happen, even if your end of year total ends up being below the milestone?

It's where the points stand at the end of the year, so if I manage to get the total down then I do the tasks up to that point
