Chinese Government's biggest fear is independent thought.

But, what pisses me off, was how the chinese government is now thinking "hah, we can block these two things for half and hour, and we'll watch you guys all get super pissy. Look who has the power? we do. now shutup and listen to us."

but really people in the UK need to wake up to the idea that is beeing mooted, ish with blocking "harmful sites" in the uk .. a 100% un able to control thing.
china .. well china is interesting. is china now FAR closer to the west than ever before, at the same time china v's nKorea, the country that is so backward they are JUST getting mobile phones to the people who can afford them (work that out)

Hey, at least we have Wikipedia now, right? Although only thanks to the Olympics... and then the Xinjiang thing came along and ruined social networking for everyone.
If you haven't already, look into a VPN. I lived without one in China for so long but this time but I finally forked out a couple months ago and it's so nice to have the real internet again.

check the worlds most visited sites.
