Report, One Day of Rules

IceMaiden gave me this task in the Denied by Girls Game:

I woke up at 12:30, and started the task at 1 pm. My normal bedtime is around 4 am, but I decided to continue until 5 am so that I could finish four cycles of the bladder control rule. I was home the entire day except for a trip to the library, which took less than an hour. Since I was doing the same tasks repeatedly, I'll just say what I thought about each of the four rules:

1. From waking to sleeping, edge once on the hour every hour.
This was a great task because it kept me anticipating my orgasm the entire day. It didn't take long to edge while imagining how great my first orgasm in 17 days was going to feel. I produced a lot of precum each time I edged. Also, it felt weird at times edging while needing to pee.

2. Every hour drink a half pint of water, but you can only use the bathroom to pee on every other odd hour.
On this one, the difficulty varied a lot:
1-5 pm: This was fairly easy. I only felt the need to pee during the last hour.
5-9 pm: I didn't feel the need to pee at all during this time. This was probably because I ate a large dinner and didn't drink anything except for the water assigned for this task.
9 pm-1 am: I started to feel the need to pee during the third hour, and the last hour was fairly difficult.
1-5 am: This was, by far, the worst. During the last hour, I really needed to pee. It was torture holding it in while watching youtube videos to pass the time, checking the clock every few minutes to see how time I had left. I kept shifting my body because most postions were very uncomfortable. I couldn't even stand up straight when it was time to walk to the bathroom because it was just too uncomfortable. But in the end, I successfully held my pee for the entire four hours. I was quite relieved when this was over.

3. Every hour write the following line five times: "This will be worth it in the end."
This task was merely a minor inconvenience. Line writing can be very monotonous when writing the same line for long periods of time. But it was quick and easy for me to write that short line 5 times every hour.

4. Every two hours insert once ice cube anally and then do one edge while kneeling while the ice melts.
Inserting one ice cube created a very brief cold sensation as the ice cube melted quickly. The edging was difficult because of the kneeling position; it's hard for me to get an erection from imagination alone in any position where my legs aren't straight. So a few times, I watched porn, and a few other times, I got an erection in a different position then switched to a kneeling position to edge. But once I got hard, it didn't take very long to edge. The worst part of this task was having the water exit my ass afterward; it left quite a spot on my underwear.

Overall, it was a very fun task. My favorite rules were the 1 edge every hour, followed by the bladder control rule. So, thanks IceMaiden for surprising me with a great task and treating me to an orgasm. (To get an idea of how unexpected this was, I didn't ask for a task, and I don't even have my likes and limits in my signature).

My thoughts on rules so far:
Rules can make for interesting challenges, as I have to go about my day differently than I normally would. But over time, they tend to get more and more annoying to follow. In the Big Brother game, it was annoying to have to avoid eating junk food, sleep without pillows, and limit my warm showers. And in this task, it eventually became annoying to have to stop what I'm doing and do the tasks every hour.

I don't have any experience with this, but I'd probably feel differently if I was a sub and they were given to me by a dom. It seems to me like following rules would be a great way for a sub to experience submission in their daily life.
