Writing Task #4: An Ode To getDare.

Part of my writing task series, coming from this tread here. This time I had to write an Ode to getDare. I did my research on odes, and it turns out they're usually 3 verses (specified I had to write three anyway) and are 10 lines long. They also follow the rhyme scheme of:
(a, b, a, b, c, d, e, c, d, e)
(f, g, f, g, h, I, j, h, I, j)
(k, l, k, l, m, n, o, m, n, o)
So that's what I did. Enjoy!
An Ode to getDare.
When boredom rules my world at night,
I find one place keeps my mind alive.
A place with beasts that befriend, don’t fight.
Where the slaves and masters alike can thrive.
Hidden away, almost out of view
to protect the vanilla population from shock.
If only then knew what and how we know,
that everyone here is out to please and hurt you.
Strangle and smack, beat and tie up your cock,
but we aim to satisfy, teach, and grow.
Playing alone with another, lost at screen.
Writing lies as captions, on our bodies.
You said you felt as valued as you’ve ever been,
I said it felt different, not like the copies.
So I came back, restrained to a door,
I couldn’t enter or leave, come or go: just wait.
I waited. I waited for further instruction.
It came in sucking, fucking, humiliating form.
I kept time in my mind, I couldn’t be late.
You were just learning the art of seduction.
Voices turn off at the touch of a key,
Vibrant personalities hidden in colour.
I see the names, faces remain for me to see,
hear voices, see smiles, the touch will be fuller.
Maybe one day I’ll move from the chair,
Maybe soon I’ll go outside
and kick start the life I want to lead.
For now, I think it’s only fair,
I can see out this virtual ride,
on getDare’s rolling, scrolling, filthy feed.

Well done An_Jon, I am very impressed by the piece itself and then doubly impressed that you researched the structure of an ode. This site may be full of the weird, the geeks, the misfits, and the sadists, but behind our kinky facade we are quite a talented bunch of miscreants.
