great story, but i noticed something that could make it better. towards the beginning, there was a part where holly muttered something under her breath, and you wrote what she said, but then the main character didnt hear her. this story is told in first person, and its confusing if the reader hears a character say something, but the narrator does not. it would also make it more suspenseful if you wrote something like "i heard her mutter something under her breath". then, the reader is left wondering what she said, and it doesnt give away the plot outright
