people dont just use sticks under their arms they also use parfumes on the body:) its not the same thing, sticks are a must but parfumes I admit are optional and noticed by people around.

Sorry I dont want to be mean, just kidding, and also I dont want to change the subject so I' have to add something more: buy pure 90* alcohol (from drugstore if not in markets, if asked say just you want to combine with concentrate juice to make liqueurs), its cheaper than a drink or perfume. And it is the extreme part of this dare so be careful. More extreme is to drink some... in this case be careful to be the comestible type (pure ethilic alcohol used in creating some drinks, it looks like water not blue) if it is methilic is toxic (causes blindness).

Yeah vodka probably wasn't the best bet, absinth if you can get hold of some is usually rather potent (and a beautiful drink to boot) or maybe methylated sprits, though that is a mix of methanol and ethanol, so might be best to check the safety thing.

I think methanol and ethanol are the chemicals created only after alcohol is ingested (one of these ones creates the headaches), alcohols are not mixes, they have a stable chemical formula (the ones ended in COOH if I dont mistake them with vinegars)

It's actually closer to 40% in order to ignite. if you want to find something that ignites; sambuca, woods rum, and premium spirit over 40% will generally light

aaa the discussion changed a bit to the point of using alcohol drinks that can burn. But the dare doesnt involve burning at all, just spraying/rubbing/pooring it in sensible areas.

Okay, to debunk some of the rumors that have been posted about alcohol:

-it is a stable compound

-ethyl alcohol (ethanol) or CH3CH2OH is what people drink to become intoxicated

-methyl alcohol (methanol) or CH3OH causes blindness if ingensted by humans, it is commonly added to rubbing alcohol so that you can't drink it (a process called denaturing)

-alcohol has a dehydrating effect, the higher the concentration of alcohol, the more this effect. When it comes into contact with mucus membranes, it will dehydrate them thus causing the stinging sensation.

-Most vodka in the us is 40% alcohol by volume (ABV), drinking liquor is also commonly avalable at 75.5% ABV (bacardi 151). Rubbing alcohol is either denatured ethanol or isopropanol (also toxic, CH3CH(CH3)OH) in concentrations of 70% ABV and 95% ABV.

-The higher the concentration of alcohol, the bigger the sting.

-It may not be good to pour toxic substances on delicate areas, for this reason, you should not use isopropyl alcohol, deoderant, or perfume. Ethyl rubbing alcohol should be okay, but still has toxic compounds used for the denaturing, if you're worried about these, use drinking alcohol.

-To avoid excess drying, this punishment should be used in moderation (not every day) especially if you're going to use high concentrations of alcohol.

-Acetaldehyde (CH3CHO) a produced by the body while it breaks down ethanol and may also be responsible for hang over symptoms.

Yeah as someone said earlier sambuka is strong enough, as is absinth, as you're kinda meant to partially set it alight.

About a steel traditional drink, just theoretically (dont remember, was a kid when I was told about): ROTTEN apples (the ones fallen from trees after a couple of days) or plums, or maybe any fruit have alcohol, so they are boiled in water to be distilled (twice is better, distilling is boiling at 70*Celsius while water boils at 100*C, 70 is the boiling temperature of alcohol so it is gathered thru a tube). Did a google search and found out many people distills the wine (from red wine you should get cognac or something like whiskey). But the practical way in the cities for making a hard liquour is just to buy etilic alcohol and mix 1 part alcohol with 2 parts concentrated cherry syrup.

Rubbing alcohol is not ethyl alcohol. Rubbing alcohol is almost always isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol.) Rubbing alcohol is better for this than drinking alcohol (ethyl alcohol) because it will cause the same amount of pain but is less toxic. Also, it is less likely to lead to infection because it is more pure.

It's also probably worth noting that using alcohol internally has the same effect as drinking it -- your body will STILL absorb it, except more directly in this instance. Therefore, it's actually possible to OD on the alcohol depending on the quantity.

advice: avoid your eyes at all cost! Read about someone used chilly and almost blinded himself. Not sure of lasting effects but not sure if anyone really tried this experiment. Other similar burning things are very seriously treated in the hospital (someone has to wear a blindfold for a week along with the treatment). I just did this half hour ago, but differently.

I didnt pour it in my pee hole. i soaked 5 Q-tips in rubbing alcohol, then i spread the opening so it would go in easy. then i shoved it in almost all the way and left it in for 5 minutes. then i pulled it out and repeated with the other 4. good half hour session and it still burns.
